For a daily driver I was leaner toward 205cc runners but 225's seem to come up for sale more often. If the heads were cut say .080 on the 225cc would it be hard on a daily driver? Would it be too peaky?

depends on the cam, with the cam in your sig i would prolly go with 205's

Not sure of your PTV with the cam, but the 205's and the 225's have different size valves if that is a concern at all.

205's will give you more bottom end over the 225's. I'm planning on going with the 205's as well for dd. If I was to run the 225's, it'd be on a bigger motor with more cam.

I have the 205s in my car with the MTI C1 cam and I love it. No complaints here. And its my daily driver.

I would go with the 225's if you had a cam with more lift like say the lsk lobes so you could take advantage of the flow past .600 inchs but with the torquer i defintally say the 205's. As for PTV you'll be perfectly fine with stock gasket thickness but if you are pulling th heads i would recomend running .040 gaskets to up the DCR but even with that i think you'll be fine on PTV, but measure just to make sure

When you say the heads are cut 0.08 do you mean milled? I know mine have been milled a little like 0.02 and my compression was around 11.3 to 11.5.
