Just wondering if it is even worth spending the extra money for an adjustable timing chain.....could it be a difference in hp, or tq if i dont degree it ?

Might be too late now, but have you plugged your stuff into the DCR calculator just to see how your numbers came out? I am by no means an expert, but you might want to consider some advance (like +2 or +3 degrees). It might help you down low and in the middle and if it helps your DCR enough may have no negative effect up high.

The F14 comes with +4 advance ground into it.

Installing straight up means with 0 advance
Installing dot-to-dot means installing it out of box without degreing.

To your question, dot to dot is fine on a +4 advance.

well did you order it with any advance ground in? if not and its 112+0 then i would get a adjustable TC and advance it 2-4 degree's for some more low end torque. thats just me. if you ordered with advance ground in, i'd still degree it, for peice of mind, but dot to dot is ok if you dont want to get a new TC.
