I orderd a 3400 from Fuddle. Wondering what 1/4 or 1/8 mile gains yall got from installing your converter?

Assuming you have sticky tires and hook well, expect about .4 reduction in your ET.

I dropped 5 tenths and gained 1 mph going from an 11" 2800 from LPE to a 9.5" Vig 3600 back in 1996...Same converter is still in the car...

i dropped .55 off of my 1/8 mile time by adding only a fuddle 4k stall, LCAs, and bfg drag radials. on the stock tune with the stock shiftpoints, tqm, etc. i feel i would have lost more, but due to the stock tuning, the car dropped 3 mph off the trap speed. the car banged the limiter on the 2-3 shift 7-8 times consistently. i also had a transgo full race/high stall shift kit installed, and i could literally FEEL tqm laying the car down when it was trying to shift.

car went 8.73 @ 83 (2.0x 60') to an 8.18 @ 80 (1.70 60') after the converter.

adding bolt-ons, a converter, and a GOOD tune dropped almost 2 seconds off of my stock ET.

With my old setup I dropped .5 in the 1/4 and dropped from 1.9-2.0 60ft to consistent 1.6 That was with a ST 3500. When I put on my H/C I will be putting in a SS4000

The average seems to be half a second. Some more, some less.

About 7-9 tenths (with traction , and about .5 on street tires) going from stock to a 3800.

I dropped .33 off my et in completely oppsite weather than when I ran my 12.99 before the converter and on the stock tune. So, in decent air and a tune i'm willing to bet I could drop another .2-.3 off.

This was a few years ago with a lot less mods but...

Yank SS3600 dropped from a 12.78 to 12.38. MPH stayed the same.

this was all on street tires, if i stalled it up and ran DRs it would have been alot better...
