'02 Camaro sells for $80K at Barrett-Jackson
I thought this was very interesting, and if it has already been discussed than sorry.
But last night at the Barett-Jackson auction in Scotsdale, a 2002 ZL1 Camaro from GM sold for $80,000!!!! They said the car has a potential of $500,000+ in years to come!
I don't have a link, but you can just google Barrett-Jackson and look the car up, pretty sweet!

GM built in total 69 ZL1 Supercars in 2002.
They had 3 stages, technically 4 but I'll get to that later. There was the stage 1 with 400 hp, in total 16 were built. There was the phase 2 with 475 hp, in total 16 were built. Last but certanilly not least there was a the biggest and baddest production camaro every built, the Phase 3 with 600 hp and in total 37 of those were built. All 69 cars were BC4 coupes with 6 speed manuals, except 2 that were converted into automatics in 2002
The one and only "Phase 4 SR427" was car #69, it was built to honor Bill "Grumpy" Jerkins and his ZL1 drag car.

I dont know, I think we would be the last model before the "continutation" and the LS1 motor has really put GM ahead of the competition and our cars were the first models to be equipped with them besides the 97+ vette.
