Hey this guy has a 93 mustang coupe with a stock 2001 ls1 it has a 6 speed tranny with stock clutch and everything stock. It has the ford differential with 4:10 gears. On slicks with 18 in. cobras in the front.
On motor what will the car run?
The car has a roll cage. Full interior.

uhmmm....

Dude there's a lot of variables: Weight. Launch RPM. Shift RPM. Testing. Tuning. Hooking the car. Even though your saying it's a stock LS1, etc. But, for arguments sake, if the car weighs 3000 lbs with the guy in it, on a decent tune I don't see why a car like that shouldn't be dipping into the 11's.

^^^ agreed...if he gets a decent launch, and if the car is at or around 3000lbs, should be safe to say high to mid 11s. if the car was a bolt on car with a damn good launch and you're looking at mid 11s solid i would think...

the previous owner of my car ran a 12.43 if i remember correctly, or Very close to that, but don't remember the mph. that was on the 17's & non-drag radial tires you see in the sig below. stock '99 motor except for ls6 intake, exhaust & K&N, with 3.27 gears, 3050lbs with him in the car. that should give you some idea.

i on the other hand ran a 12.63 @ 110mph crossing the traps @ 6000rpm in only 3rd gear with a 1.92 60', sub 3000rpm launch, 3080lbs with me, and granny shifting. with a 4.10 gear, 5000+ rpm launch, a dead hook, and faster shifting, 11's are a SURE thing!

What type and size rear tires did you have on the car when you did that? If slicks were they like 28" or something?

Well it ran a 12.4 with street tires on it. No headers just exhaust.
