Default T-56 Transmission Problems

Well the transmission was going ok, but then i decided to take it out for a bit of a hard run, 1/4 testing etc, anyway after that night, its VERY difficult to get the car into reverse, i have to really push it and force it, and i kinda have to pull the shifter upwards when shifting it into reverse.

Also, *sometimes* not all the time, its hard to shift into any gear, especially first, but once again if i pull the shifter up while shifting it helps, or sometimes if i push it down it helps.

Other time, the car shifts perfect 1-6, but reverse still has problems.

Any suggestions would be great, it has a brand new clutch, master cylinder and slave cylinder and flywheel.

Thanks

The cluth feels great, no problems. And it shifts alot easier with the engine off. But of course i cant get near reverse with the engine off because it just wont let me go over that far (6 speed).

Once in gear is the clutch releasing off the floor when you let the pedal up?
Sounds like you have hydraulic issues there.
Is it bleed?
Not one that needs a shim? I like adjustable master just so you can adjust the freeplay out of the pedal.
Lots of times in a manual car it helps to put it in a foward gear then go reverse w/ clutch depressed & it helps it go in R smooth as well.

Question

Well count me in!!! I am having the same problem! It is pretty hard to shift into gears during normal driving and increasingly harder during and after a high RPM run. When the engine is off it seems to shift just fine. Does this seem to be a problem with the syncros?
