Default Lifter and Rocker questions for L92 heads

I am buying a set of L92's with Manley 1426 spring package. These springs have 140lb seat and 385lb op[en pressure at .65 lift.

Are the stock LS2 lifters Ok with these spring pressures?

Are the stock L92 rocker arms OK with these spring pressures too?

These will be going on a A6 vette with stock bottom end.

I will be utilizing LS7 lifters, L92 intake rockers and stock LS1 exhaust rockers with my LS7-L92 head build. Cam specs out over 650 lift. You should be fine.

Only the exhasut rockers will work with those heads, the intake has an offset. The lifters will work just fine. I am going with the LS7's just to be safe. Also, they are 1.7 ratio.

Jesel does have a set of Mohawk rockers available for the L92 heads. I talked with one of the Jesel guys about them at PRI. Too bad the retail on them is aobut what a set of CNC ported heads and springs are going for.

I cant see any reason you cant use the 1.80 LS7 rockers arms on the L92 heads they both have the off sit intake valve

SBcamaro, because the offset isn't exactly the same. Someone has verified this already. It either didn't come over far enough or too much and didn't fit correctly on top of the spring.

Actually, I just threw my LS7 rockers on my new L92 heads to check. The offset is fine.....the problem I see is that the rockers look to be a bit too long. They actually overshoot the valvestem tip. Guess that was some money wasted on bad advice.

Here's a really bad picture (sorry, I can't get the camera to focus that close to something....don't get much for $500 these days) of what I'm talking about:

???

He asked why the LS7 rockers wouldn't work....your response is 1.8 vs. 1.7?

How about vave angle difference of 3 degrees making for a longer fulcrum to tip length?
