On the Fence...
No I haven't been hittin' the sauce today. I might after this post though!

Edit:
Final decision has been made as to the sale of the SS. I've received many PM's and will deal with the first ones first to see who's actually serious about the purchase of the car. I have decided not to take it to the track. I'll leave that to the new owner. I've also been thinking...for the selling price I'm asking, I will sell her as is without any additional "touch ups" and passenger window track repairing I had planned on doing. The tracks in the passenger window are fudged up so the window stays up. It will go up and down but needs to be guided by hand.
There is also a boat load of "extras" that will go with the car (New SLP 85mm MAF with smooth bellow, ARP LS1 and LS2 Head Studs, stock radiator and fan assembly, dual rear exhaust w/ Spintech muffler/polished tips, LS1 intake, air box assembly, Hotchkis strut tower brace) and many, many more misc parts. Alot of documents will be in a binder giving info on latest build, many receipts, instructions, etc. Will also be giving slightly used 28x10.5x15 E/T Drags (without wheels).

Well guys believe it or not it may be that time…I’m shaking my head as I’m typing this not believing this day would ever come. The SS has been my pride and joy for many years being a work in progress since I took delivery back in December 1998…
The only reason I’m making this decision is its time for some changes. Shelia and I are looking to start a family and may have some added expense we'll have to deal with. I need to get something’s in order then maybe down the road I’ll look into something else but for now the SS may need a new home and hopefully someone that will take care of it as I have…I have decided to wait to list it on Ebay, several other websites, autotrader, etc…to get a feel from all the fellow LS1Tech peeps and pass the word too see if we can keep this monster among the “locals” if I decide to do this. I'm truly "still on the fence" here.
As most know the car has been featured in the 2003 Oct issue of GMHighTech. I still have an unopened issue that will be given to the new owner. It also made the 2004 Calander. I had a photo shoot in the Jan 2006 issue of Turbo magazine for the Dallas/Houston July Jam Dyno shoot out.
The last “project” for the car, no expense was spared. Best of the best for a very streetable, pump gas, high HP, full interior, ride...still retaining the A/C and custom sound system.
Way too many things to list but here’s the sum of it all:
Very Clean 1999 Black SS Camaro Hard Top, 6spd, T/A leather interior, 51,000 original miles
Again…no expense was spared for this build!
- Custom build by Mike Pabon (Icon Autosports) and G&G Performance Engines –
LS2 408ci (8.9:1) stroker (Engine Girdle, Lunati Billet Crankshaft/Lunati rods/custom, Polydyned Wiesco blower pistons, Speed Pro rings, custom blower camshaft)
ATI F1 ProCharger (18lbs) w/ current pulley’s and SDCE set up
AFR 225 72cc heads w/ AFR upgraded valves/springs / G&G custom valve job

SLP 3 core radiator w/ SDCE dual Spal fan and custom shroud
Custom 4” FMIC w/ Black powder coated piping, Vortech Mondo bypass Valve
Port matched Victor Jr. intake w/ sheet metal intake elbow
90mm NW Throttle Body
Custom NOS set up (100shot)
72# RC injectors w/ flow sheet
Aeromotive FPR (boost ref)
KOOKS 1 7/8” stepped headers w/ custom exhaust
Custom fuel system (dual intank 340 Walbros / Lonnies Performance / Racetronix)
Custom 3 Bar SD tune with HP Tuners
Fresh T-56 with upgraded internals (T-56 Rebuilds)
New Textralia Triple Disc clutch
Denny’s Nitrous ready DS w/ DS loop
Moser 12 bolt / Eaton posi/ 33 spline axles/ 3.73’s
T/A cover
Baer GTP Race 13.25” front rotors with PBR race calipers w/ new Pro Street Baer pads
New Baer drilled/slotted rear rotors w/ pads
LT1 front springs w/ new HD Bilstein's

Kenny Brown adj lower control arms
Relocation brackets
Global West adj panhard bar
Spohn Pro Series adj rear Drag sway bar
Kenny Brown 3-way progressive springs w/ HD Bilstein's
The car has dynoed (DynoJet) 880RWHP with a slipping Spec 5 clutch. With the new Textralia Exo-Skel Triple Disc I'm not sure what the final HP/TQ numbers could be...
I will go into much more detail about set up, parts, etc with someone truly interested in purchasing the car. I have many photos too.

Dennis don't sell it because you are starting a family, sell it because you feel it is time for it to move on to another project! That way in 16 or so years you don't tell your kid(s) that you had to sell your toys because of them! lol
