Nah...same dipstick location....it's just that there's no freakin' room in the TBSS. I never would've thought a camswap in the TBSS would be more difficult than on my GTO, but it was. And it was because my SUV didn't have enough room under the hood....sheesh

I think the exhaust manifolds are different too. And of course, the oil pan.
Oh yeah....forgot that the injectors and rails are different too, but I guess that goes along with the intake.

yea it would be safe to say the manifolds are different and the oil pan...that dipstick hole is a pain to get to no matter what...swappin the heads on my buddies GTO it took us a 1/2 hour to get that thing back in...luckily i had mine there for a reference...lol

Thanks for the input...I was just wondering about it to know if they would respond the same to intake, heads, and cam swaps. People are getting some very impressive #'s out of LSx motors and this is my first one. Thanks everyone.

I could see the shiny hole from leaning over the fender, and it looked like it was supossed to go there.
