LSX Conversions..
What are some easy vehicles that have been converted into LSX Cars/Trucks. I am looking for something light with some decent handling. I was looking at a 1984 Corvette. A friend of mine has one, and the Transmission is a direct bolt in cause the mounts match, the Engine mounts would have to be re-done a little bit, and then most of it is custom is like any swap.
If anything can't be found easy, I just might beef up my Camaro with a Moser 8.5" 10-bolt Rear and go from there, I already got the Harness built for it.

are you at the airbase. If so, just about anything should be doable if they have a auto hobby shop. All the tools in the world available to anyone with a little ability.

I am, and I use that place all the time, trust me.. I have my own Tools, just about everything I need to tear the Car apart. You here also?
The question was more directed as in what would be an easy conversion and something that would be cool with a LS Engine in it.

No, I'm in Dover Arkansas, Hwy 7. Used the hobby shops when I was in the Navy all the time. Did a 41 Chevy convertable in Hawaii at the hobby shop. Cant beat the equipment they have. I'm working on a 96 Blazer, not to light though. S10 trucks are fairly light though. The work to put engine in isn't that hard either. Available everywhere too.

It's a 383 stroker motor... LS6 block w/ heads/cam
something like 420 rwhp and 450 rwtq.
and supposibly weighs about 2300lbs....
that would make for a hell of a ride

93-95 RX-7. They have great handling, and aren't too bad to swap engines into. You just need to get the engine/tranny/harness. Modify the harness, and buy one of the subframes from granny or hinson and you'll be set.
