what size YANK ???
Im asking fior a buddy of mine. He's purchasing a 99 Z28 has 3.73's and a catback. Hes planning on putting a Yank in it. and running some 315 Bfg drag radials. It's not going to be a everyday driver but will be driving (alot of DARK country roads on beside another car) on the street. I told him a 4400 yank would do him good, and he may put some N2O on it or a cam. I have seen were alot of guys say a 4400 is streetable size what do you'll think????

The STR...SS4000 is 2.6 and the PT4000 is 2.25. I love the tightness of the SS4000, but damn traction is hard to come by with the higher STR. Plus, highway jaunts would be quicker with the PT series. I will probably send my SS4000 in one of these days and have the STR dropped down when I get some gears. There are other differences as far as internal components, but this is the one that I know of.
