I got my Vette back from Ellis today. Its feeling pretty strong. Had to have the clutch rebuilt from the past season and a half of hard launching and slipping the clutch too much.....
Well maybe now with the nitrous and fixed clutch I can finally get away from these pesky 11's and into the 10's.
I've got a couple minor projects before I will race her, but she is real close to being ready. I need to install my wideband commander, and possibly fuel pressure and nitrous pressure gauges (if I can scrounge the funds up), and finally fine tune the wet shot so its hitting just right in the A/F............and then she'll be out in seek of the elusive 10 second time slip.

Cool man I'm getting a new clutch too, mine's at TTi getting fixed up. Also getting the DTE rear diff brace and hardened axle, and a couple more psi of boost. I better make my passes count as I will be getting kicked for no rollbar...

It ingested somethig last year during it's maiden dyno tune after being enlarged to a D series. I finally sent it in for a new impeller. Hopefully I'll pick up the 2 lbs of boost it lost from that. I aslo bought a new airbox / plenum for the car show.

We'll see you guys at the track soon. Mark and his Z06 will be poking around the low 11's high 10's area also, as soon as he gets some tires. It's going to be a great year. Now, when Perry shows up in his 427...

I wouldn't mind running 9's. I'm just not ready to go through the *** pain of installing a full weld in roll cage........not to mention I'd have to forge my motor before I could safely go there.
All you guys running 9's or knocking on 9's door have built motors. All our Vettes (except for Perry) have stock bottom ends.
We need to get some built motors in our Vettes so we can step up to you guys!
