Default Missing my T/A.............

I've looked at C5's,I've looked at 06 GTO's....But still I miss my Bird......I wanted to supercharge my 04 GTO but in the back of my warped mind I keep thinking another F-car....

I really think the new camaro is nice but its not a bird and I'm not so sure there going to build another GTO let alone a 2010 Bird so now I Sit and ponder what to do,should I supercharge the Goat or just jump ship and buy another bird or sit tight...

As much as I like the C5,I gotta admit the C6 is growing on me but its out of my price range...Oh how I'd love to have a SOM WS6,Red Hawk or even a 30th....

There just so hard to find with low miles...

Decisions decisions...

Wow my friend has a new 06 GTO M6 with spintech catback, suspension and Kooks LT's. I love the GTO so comfortable and its so different. I wouldnt get rid of both my F-cars for one but I would def love to have one of each. I almost went to purchase a new GTO and keep my SS but i figured id wait to the new Camaro. Since you have a LS1 GTO I say get another F-Body but if I were you and had a LS2 GTO I would just SC or H/C the car.

Sorry to hear that you are missing your T/A Joel.... Every time I consider selling mine, I get in and take it for a spin and fall back in love with it. I've even gone as far as taking a '04 C5 for a test drive, but when I parked the C5 next to my T/A, I just liked the t/a more.

Good luck finding what you're looking for, whatever it may be.

P.S. Joel, do you have any recocomendations of a good machine shop that can weld up a bolt hold and retap it. I snapped a header bolt in the head, and made a mess of it trying to drill it out..... live and learn.

JS,

Why care about low miles, I would imagine you're going to change everything on it that has miles anyway.

You can pick up a 99WS6 or something similar, re-ring it, heads/cam, 12-bolt, built trans... that pretty much a new car. LOL

There is a mint 2002 SOM Firehawk sitting here on McGuire AFB. It's been there a few weeks. The owner is asking 25K obo. if you want me to jot down the phone number, let me know. Don't know the mileage, but it looks low.

That is low mileage. Sometimes I think I had more fun with my car when it was new and a daily driver with just bolt ons and a stall before the M6 swap.

I have heard statements exactly like that all too often from people, hence why my Z28 is still a daily driven, totally streetable bolt on car and I'm still lovin' it.
