Default 500HP + no SFC's = Problems?

So bout to buy an SS with 427rwhp. Seller says he's never had slicks on it. The car has no SFC's. Should I be concerned about bent frame? Just curious what the general frame concensus is based on 500HP and no SFC's.

Thanks!

My uncles 00 SS (stock) had a slight wrinkle on the drivers side quarter after only 15k.

The frame may be a little tweaked. I put some SFCs on my car when I got it at 90k miles(bone stock), and the frame was off by about 1/4 inch.

Unless the car has been crashed or he hooked really really really good at the track a few times, the frame won't be bent. I don't have SFCs on any of my Camaros (three of them with 100K+ miles), one of them makes about 450 at the crank but never really sees the drag strip and none of them have any wrinkles in the rear quarter panels or anywhere else. Still, if you are really that worried, take it to a good body shop and get it checked. Good luck.

I think SFC should be on any stock LS1. They are a great mod for stiffining your whole car, making it feel that much better. I had dents on both sides of my rear quarter pannels on my LT1 Camaro and was only making 315 HP.
