Default Help me decide. White SS.

Alright, heading back to the states in a week, and want to try to get some rims ordered now, so I can install them when I'm home.

Requirements:

- Wheels have to be LIGHT. I don't want to add a bunch of rotational weight on each corner.

- I want 315's on the rear

- 275's or 285's on the front

- Car will be used for drag racing, road racing, auto-x, etc.

- NO BLACK WHEELS.

- Hopefully the car will be getting lowered at the same time, using some Strano springs/struts/shocks.

- Cost is not an issue.

- I wanted to run some HRE 545R's, until I found out how heavy they are. Then I had to tell that idea to !

Pics of the Mongoose:

I'm thinking about the FM5's. If I can figure out the exact sizes, and get them ordered/delivered within a week. :help:

Let me know what you think would look good, where I can get said rims, and specific sizes/offsets. Thanks!

I'm digging the CCW SP500's also. But it doesn't list them in a 17" rim. Can you get them as a 17"?

If don't have a size restraint I would agree with Potent68 and go CCW SP500's...

If you DO have a size restraint I would probably go with either the same wheels you have now or some chrome ZR1s...everything else I can think of is pretty heavy...

Just got off the phone with CCW. He said he can try to get me the wheels/tires while I'm home, but obviously, no guarantee's. SP500's, with 315/30/18's in the rear, and 275/35/18's in the front.

I agree, but, I think I've just talked myself out of it. Something about ordering new rims/tires and having them sit in storage while I'm gone, and basically have a brand new set of rubber dry out on me.

Oh well, when I get home for good I'll make up my mind.
