odometer stop working
my odometer stop working, everything else in the gauge cluster works but that doesn't,ifi get a used one will it show my mileage or the mileage from the car it came from

Well if the car is a 98 then i think it is stored in the cluster itself so you would need to get it reprogramed.
What is wrong with the odometer? did the display go out or did it stop counting or something like that?

You need a new instrament cluster. It's one unit and when one thing goes out the only way to fix it is to replace the entire cluster. It's the new 'plug and play' type of auto repair. 2 out of my 4 Pontiacs have needed it done. There are no user accessable bulbs to replace.
