Default Installed my FAST 85/85... holy hell!!!

Finally got a new oil pressure sending unit today so my gf and I slapped the intake on after work - All I have to say is it was worth every cent I paid for it and more. When you give it full throttle it roars like a freight train... I'd venture to guess at least a 20 HP gain (Keep in mind, I am going from a stock LS1 intake and stock TB, so I think a 20HP gain is reasonable). From 4000-6000 RPM, it pulls so hard it feels like a whole different car. Before, on the 2-3 shift it felt like it took a second to come up on the powerband...not anymore. It starts pulling the instant I let the clutch out. I can't even imagine how quick it'll feel after I do my cam and LTs, but I am pretty damn happy with it now. Best $500 I have spent on the car yet!

Congratulations man! Sounds like it was money well spent.

Might have missed it in your post, but do you have it tuned yet?

No, no tune yet because I have a TR224 waiting to be installed when I get LTs. I'll be tuning it then.

That's cool...you should really see it come alive with LTs and a good tune...and the cam of course.

It'll make the intake all that much more worth it.

Good luck and enjoy!

Good stuff and yeah it is a huge difference form an ls1 intake. When i switched to an LS6 intake with a PP stock TB it was a world of difference, instead of power dropping off so early it just kept pulling.

Because my intake started as a 78MM FAST. I made a post on it a week or so back. Opened it up to accept the 85MM TB, which was the largest possible for a 78MM intake.

*edit* Thanks for posting that Lastcall!
