Default Any pics of 285/35/18 tire on 18x10.5's????

I searched and searched through all the threads but couldnt find any pics of a 285/35/18 tire on a 18x10.5 wheel (preferably on a ZO6 wheel). Im looking to get this set up but I'm not sure if the tire would look too skinny on the rear wheel. If anyone does have this set up, were any spacers needed or just the BFH mod? Can anyone help? Thanks.

I just got my tires mounted up today on my new wheels. I have 18x9.5/10.5 ZO6 wheels. I went with 275/35/18 up front and 295/35/18 BFG KDW2's and they fit PERFECT. If you want i can take a picture of the tire on the rim so you can how it looks. I was going to get some 285/35/18 sumitomos, but I am glad I went with the BFG's. They are a very nice tire.

yea please post a pic if you can. Im thinking of going with the 285/35 sumitomos but Im unsure if it would look too skinny for the wheel. The difference between the 285 and 295 is quite a bit of $$$$$ because sumitomo doesnt make that size (or atleast I havent found them) maybe Im too cheap..i dunno..haha. If the 285's dont look silly I might just stick with it. Thanks for the input.

Took some quick pics this morning. Its like 35 degrees out so they are not the best pics in the world . I tried to get some shots that will show how the sidewall of the tire looks on the wheel.

This is a 295/35/18 on a 10.5" wheel

This is a 275/35/18 on a 9.5" wheel

Sumitomo HTRZ II's front and back on 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 chrome Z06's, 275/35/18 front and 285/35/18 on back. I believe this is exactly what you were looking for. No BFH mod but I had to cut the bump stops to ease my mind about them never rubbing. They don't look bad, but they could always be bigger

Mounted the tires and wheels on the car today and I love them. The car is Really dirty this is the first time I have had it out, It has been in my racecar trailer for the last 5 months. The wheels are 53mm offset front and rear, They botled right up with no problems and as of right now I dont think I have to do any BFH'ing but im gonna get under it and make sure it wont rub at all.
I still have to install the side skirts, I think looks pretty good as it is now.

cocimitch: yep 53mm front and rear. The place I bought them from sells alot of corvette parts, it said that the wheels have correct offsets for 1997-2004 C5 or Z06 Corvettes. I bought the rims with the intention of of buying C5 vette and putting them on it, but here in NY I needed something to drive in the winter so I bought a New pickup instead.

mattl182001: Right now the car is lowered with a Eiback pro-kit with new stock De carbon shocks. Next I plan on getting some re-valved bilstiens from Sam Strano.
