Default Incon & K-Member

I've done a search and can't come up with what I'm looking for . . .

What k-member ( if there are any ) will work with the Incon setup with no modifications? I know BMR at one time had one that worked, but do they still? I'm going to call them tomorrow but wanted to see if anyone on here knew . . .

Thanks!

Curious to know this as well.

Is it required to modify the stock k-member?

Works with the stock K just fine

I wasn't aware it wouldn't work with any aftermarket K at all. The point of an aftermarket K member is to give you more room to work with. I believe all K members will work with the Incon. From looking underneath several times, there is no problem with an aftermarket unit.

I had to clearance my BMR k-member for my kit to work. Everything fit around it, but one of the intake hoses wouldn't go onto the turbo with the BMR k-member for some reason. Tried a couple times and everything was right so we just supported the car, dropped the k-member out, cut the corner off and welded a piece on it where we cut and it looks factory. Not sure if I'm the only one that has had to do this, but I've taken the engine off the k-member several times both in the car and out of the car and everytime it lines up the same. I'll see if I can dig up the pics of where we cut it.

It's been a while, but I believe the problem was on the passenger side. The rear mount for the lower control arm. On some k-members this was square on the inside. Where the factory is round. The Incon kit is real close on that side. I think they make them now with the corners clipped off at an angle.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's exactly where we ran into the issue and that's all we did was take the corner out.

I don't have the newest version of the BMR k, but do have a newer version....no problems at all with the Incon.
