Default LS1 mustang updated pics and track times....

Took the car to the track and ran it on a 100 shot. The engine has an MS3 cam, TH400 w/3800 stall and headers. I have a UPR pro series suspension with AJE tubular K-member and A-arms. First pass let off at 1000' getting used to it and it ran 10.60@121 on a 1.52 60' no nitrous on launch. Second and third pass both times the car wouldnt hook and went 10.8@132 on 1.9 60' nitrous launches. There are still some bugs to work out and I plan on increasing the shot and tweaking the suspension as well. As usual once the sun went down the track went away so the only really good pass was the one that wasnt complete. I am hoping to get a 10.4/10.3 with a 100 shot before I increase it to a 200 shot and shoot for 9's. the weight of the car was 2700 lbs w/o driver although I dont know the true accuracy of the scale.

We should run them at the track side by side, and wait till second pass to have the announcer broadcast what's powering them.

WOW...that car looks sick man. I would love to see that in person some time...and also Whistlers car. I am seriously thinking of doing a Notch swap as soon as my S10 is all worked out. That car is sure one fine swap!!

They are 351 ford headers with GM flanges and a few of the tubes were bent to work in my application. MY best 1/8 time was when I didnt spray until about the 100' mark and it went 6.7@104....
