Default Synergy Twin dyno results....two dynos

Ok, so I was able to get results from my dyno and a Dynojet which is what everyone likes to see. So here are the two graphs, same car, same day pretty much. On my dyno, I can apply alot more load to the car, so the car wound up making almost a full 1.5psi more than when I got on the dynojet. Which is about what I expected it to do. I also found I could squeeze more timing into the dynojet graph, but once I hit the street, I had to take it right back out. The Ic temps where not quite as good as they were on the street, but this should give an idea of what the car made so far. Now start the questions.

interesting for folks to take note.

due to load the car makes more boost aka more power on the street thus that tune joe blow gets on the local dynojet (unless they have the brake loading capability) is gonna be quite on the edge once you hit the road.

figure add the hp and tq another 1.5psi of boost makes to the dynojet graphs and they jive right up with the dynopack.

good stuff, wish I coulda make it up there for a test drive

so the next logical question for the GTO owners out there is how much and when can they ship!

Damn Rick the twins are making some good power. Wish my torque graph looked that good.

Heads and mild camshaft, about 9-10 psi of boost and our twin kit.

Yes, thats what concerned me as well with the load thing.

I am hoping to put this kit around 5500-6K when done.

Is that A/F correct on the dynojet graph? If so, thats way rich isn't it?

Very nice numbers!
No AFR was taken on the dynojet because I did no tuning on the dyno with the car. I had all the Wideband stuff in my laptop.

No, no meassurements where taken on the dynojet, just numbers. I had everything on my laptop.

Odd....Id have though the Dynapack would read a lot lower than the Dynojet numbers, even more so if the Dynojet might be making less boost ??

Its different all the time. Its like when you see mustang dynos read different all over the place. Why do some read like dynojets and vise versa. The Dynapack cant be changed, there are no variables, and it meassures TQ, not estimated HP. So those are the differences.

All dynos measure torque only. HP is always calculated from a formula based on torque and RPM. The dyno displays HP because it is doing the calculation for you using the torque and RPM numbers.

Not true. The dynojet does not meassure TQ.

It HAS to measure torque. That's the only way to get HP. There is no instrument or machine that can "measure" HP. HP is calculated based on torque and RPM.
