Default Turtle Wax ICE Liquid claybar?

Anyone used it? Is it worth it? Seems like it would be much quicker. Anyone use it?

Not yet, but used the liquid wax / car polish and it looks sick. just if you leave it on too long in the sun when you come back to get it off, it sweats.

Shrugs dunno why

Unsure, it goes on so fast though its a little more stubborn to get off *at least when it starts to sweat*

But Im sure you could put it on and take it off with an orbital.

The only reason I tried the turtle crap is cause I cant use my garage now and prolly nto for another month. So I needed an alternative to the Zaino. Not that Im comparing Z to the T hehe.

With Zaino its so deep looking you can fall into the black and then when a spider drops on the hood of the car, he slides right off nd cant get his footing

Whereas this turtle polish/wax looks really nice and shiney but doesnt give it that slick wax feeling.

try using McGuires GOLD medallio Paint cleaner, its mostly a black bottle with green text. BEST STUFF Ive used ever. Its supposed to be just like claybarring your car. I used to claybar my car, THEN use this.... and just after the paint cleaner, MY GOD the car would shine and the contaminants in the paint were gone. From what ive read, it works as a claybar would, so there is no need to claybar.

I have Zaino, Tons of different McGuires stuff, Turtle wax, Mothers... By far the medallion cannot be touched. It will only last as long as conventional waxes at around 2-2.5 months as opposed to when i use zaino and it lasts 4-4.5 months BUT it looks way better.

Some people give it a shot and let me know what you think.

it is a very good product, but it will NOT replace using a clay bar ..

Liquid clay bars are not worth the effort it takes to go to the store to buy them .. concept has been around for a long time .. still doesn't work worth a flip.

I tried it on Saturday, It does alright I guess. You wash your car, apply liquid claybar than rinse car off. You really need to wash it after you rinse it the second time because it doesnt get all the "claybar" off and it dries pretty quick.

liquid claybar was not what i was expecting. It's like a polish instead of a claybar. Its not a lasting affect. I used it and the polish and a after two days the swirls and stuff were back.

+1 for regular claybar

Same price better results with mother's polish.

Dammit... I jus got back from buying a bottle of it at walmart. Im going to try it out this weeknd on my truck anyway I guess. It needs a paint cleaning bad, the finish is starting to dull slightly and its not very smooth.

I was hoping for good results from this cuz I was never really sold on the originial clay bars that only last long enough for two or three jobs.

Ive got the whole line of ice stuff so im gona give it a total once over this weeknd and see how it does.

Meguirs gold class soap concentrate
TW ice liquid clay bar
Meguirs Gold class liquid wax
TW ice liquid wax
TW ice liquid polish spray

.... in that order. Ive never liked using orbital buffers so im sure my arms will be killing me before the weeknd is over lol
