Default 38 balance

If i have the flywheel zero balanced do i need to do the same with the clutch as well? Or is it already zero balanced?

lol title is weird...the clutch and pressure plate should be zero balanced, but if they came bolted together you better have kept them that way, they are normally balanced together....

well it's a new clutch and the stock flywheel. I had the flywheel zero balanced with the new motor. I guess my question is do i have to zero balance the pressure plate as well?

it should be balanced to the clutch or to itself...your prolly fine, but you might have a machine shop check it...

There were some ppl complaining about the balance of spec pressure plates in particular. For the minimal cost, its worth checking the balance given the aggravation of pulling the tranny to do it again if its off.

As a data point, mine was off by 15 grams iirc.

A stock LT is not zero balance in the rear. For some reason GM wanted an odd set up and went zero balance in the front and ext balance rear. My centerforce was also out of blance by 19.5 grams.
