Have you ever taken a can of compressed air an froze something? or used refredigerent and shook it, the can its iced over and has to defrost and travels down the passengers fender to the ground. might want to check to see if the plug is in the underbody of the car on the passengers floor board as well..

I had the same wet carpet and it was the heater core. It is pretty easy to change out on these cars, I hear that alot of other cars you have to pretty much remove the whole dash. In our cars it is behind the glove compartment and the hardest part was actually getting the hoses to break free from the core.

the puddle under the car is fine but it shouldnt' be no five gallons or anything. Just a little bit is fine it's just the condensation on the lines dripping.

Sometimes they start to leak and sometimes thet get clogged and stop working. Hot engine coolant passes through the heater core and gives you heat.

Your drain tube could also be clogged. Mine was clogged and that was the cause of the water pouring onto my passenger's feet.

In reference to the puddle in the back seat:

Was the car parked with the nose facing down? I remember reading on the board about that being a known issue if you leave the car parked with the nose facing down and it rains a lot. I think the easiest solution was to make sure you park with it facing up or level

id go with the drain tube being clogged. heater core...usually you can smell the coolant.

Don't think it's the drain tube. The AC condensate drain is on the passenger side firewall and supposed to drip outside the car - when clogged it'll spill water into the FRONT passenger side - think something else is going on. If the drain is working correctly you should be getting a puddle under the car when running the AC. Get inside the car and have someone run a hose with fairly strong pressure along the weatherstriping on that side and see if you can find it.

You will know if it's the heater core, you'll smell it for sure, windshield will have a film on it, etc, etc. Just smell the wet carpet and see.

Sat in the car and had my buddy use a garden hose on it and could not see any leaks coming from T tops at all. After about 5-10mins the carpet started getting wet again. I read on another ls board that it was a problem with the passenger sail. Trying to get more information. It might be leaking at the bottom of my molding at the corner of the door and seeping underneath.

Will see
