Default Hood Bird on a LS1 Hood

I have been tossing the Idea around of putting a hood bird on my 01 WS6. Just want to hear everyones suggestions on what type of bird to use i.e. 73-76, 77-80, 80-81 TTA, Mecham style,30th type birds/stripes, or even new style like on the Front License plate cover. I like the one Bandit4 did, but open to others ways. Post pix if u got em.

I know exactly what your saying, but I have had my car for the past 6 years looking exactly the way I had bought it new. I want it to look different, Thinking of Black/Gold theme like the 10th Firehawk

If you do it, I would go with a bird for the generation, like I did. It looks better in person, the colors change at different angles..you can see more pics in my sig below(98 T/A)

Mine was an entire kit called the "rally bird". I think it looks sweet but I only really liked the blue on white. I was inspired by the 99 Anniversary TA's. If I had any other color of LS1 I doubt I ever would have done this. The kit was $200 and I installed it with a friends help in about two hours.

I like that Darren, I almost went with something similar to that but decided to pony up the money & do it in paint. Ya, Can't beat the white & blue combo

I think I need to stay with smaller like darrens, Because with the ws6 hood, it has to many waves. You guys with the standards hoods have it easy.

It could be done, this is the only pic I have of my ex's car..it is the red to gold chameleon, I know I spelled that wrong The car is black..It looks Okay, I just don't think a bird looks good on a WS.6. It looks cluttered for some reason & takes away from the nice job the guy did on the paint & design of the bird. I think you can see the bird feathers go all the way down the door I believe...

Funny thing is the kit was designed for the WS6. The blue stripes on the hood are the exact width of the hood nostrils.

The hood birds don't really flow with the car imo, kinda looks like crap. I have seen one black t/a on ls1tech that didn't look that bad though.
