Question BOOST and LQ9s??? Good, Bad???

Looking for any experiences (good or bad) with LQ9 heads (72cc) and 6-8#s of boost.

I am specifically looking at Patriot's Stage II LQ9 head.

Any info appreciated...

You shouldn't have a problem. We did a lot of 6.0L castings for boosted stuff, they do fine at that boost/power level.

Are you inquiring about how much boost the stock lq9 pistons can take? I was wondering this myself.

Same setup is going in here, stock lq9 pistons with l92 heads and 7 lbs of boost (maybe less boost due to the l92 heads flowing so well).

Nope, I am asking about LQ9 heads... I am looking at a set of Patriot Stage II LQ9s (72cc) for a super charge build... on a forged 383.

Default Vortec Sc On Stock Block With Stock Bottom End....

Question, About How Much Boost Will I Be Able To Run On My Stock Short Block Without Blowing My Engine. And About How Long Will It Last. If I Got A Front Mount Will It Help With That. If I Put 6.0l Lq9 Heads Will That Help?
