Not a great day because of the heat...85+ degrees.

Made one 1/4 pass...10.09 @ 135.7...1.56 60'.....c16 richened the car up A LOT....10.1-2 a/f....it was tuned for 11.5-7 on 93/torco...I was quite surprised.
IAT started at 100 and ended at 136

I ran a few more 1/8 passes....just worked on leaning out the tune some and it kept picking up. Finally, when taking my wife down the track, the tranny didnt shift 2/3 AND hit the rev limiter just before the 1/8.....coasted to a 10.7...she really enjoyed the ride though. Big plug on side of tranny had some fluid in it and the tranny went into limp mode. Wiggled the plug and everything was back to normal and drove home....334 mile roundtrip

here is a 1.53 60' that Quicksilverado snapped a pic of...4 psi launch....12.5 psi

Chris, it was a good time and interesting results with the c16. I ran it to be safe. I was gonna turn it up but one pass i spun real bad....check gauges light came on and i got SKURRED....it was just the gas moving to the back....gauge came up and light went off on the return road. I was a big pu$$y after that and just continued to work on the tune to lean it back out from the c16. Gonna drive it to Orlando this weekend and then back to the track!!!

You sure have been racing that car a lot Looks like you are getting things dialed in nicely. Dont go too lean with the C16, you have to run it a little richer usually.

Who is open on Mondays?

Sorry KP...that should have read Saturday at MMP. I got it leaned from 10.1-2 up to 11.2-5. I keep wanting to pour the boost to it but we just keep dialing it in at low boost since i changed octane. Timing is staying at 12-14.5 deg for now as I am still trying to go slowly. I got my mileage up from 17-18.7 mpg and working on increasing that as well....prolly let efilive dial in the ve table a little more on the way to Orlando along with more timing at cruising speed.

Better to work up slow then just blast it, its easier to weed out the weak links. I'm sure you are pretty happy overall and sometimes just knowing what its capable of is a lot better then beating it up in hot weather..

I usually run 11.5:1 on C16, 12.5:1 or so on sunoco 112 for max power. If I go to 12:1 with c-16 it will detonate and slow down - have to experiment with different fuels in your combo..

Thats what i thought Kev.....

I never go leaner then 11.5:1 on anything....... and thats what i planned on C16... or maybe a few points richer.....
