Installed XS longtubes today..........
.....while i was at work so it took me mostly all day bouncing back and forth between actually working(Technician) and getting those dang things on, but its finished. As for the fit of the headers they fit GREAT!!! and went in smoothly, didnt have to grind the casting tab or remove the steering shaft or jack the engine or anything crazy like that. The Y-pipe however gave me a bit of a hard time, i couldnt get it adjusted right, even on a drive on lift, but i'm going to take it to a exhaust shop next week some time to get it adjusted properly since thats all they do they should be able to get it right for me,its touching the floor on the drivers side and it also made my catback crooked b/c the tips arent straight anymore so i'll just let the exhaust shop deal with it. As far as sound goes and power, its a plus for both of them, she car is quite a bit louder now(was way to quiet before for me) and i got into it one time and it pulled a bit harder than it normally did, seemed like i got through the gears faster. Anyways, sorry about the boring post that you always see after a header install but just figured i'd thank everyone on this site for all the info i've been able to go through searching and stuff!

Cool, congrats on the new headers. I think the cat-back crookedness is pretty typical, probably just needs minor adjustments. Also, the Y-bang-on-the-floor is a pretty typical thing, it's a function of the tolerances of the headers and y and your car itself. You could probably adjust it or just do the heater hose mod (dunno if your rationale on the exhaust shop is correct...unless it's a custom shop they probably are more used to stock stuff and if it's an ORY, they may not even want to touch it) but hopefully they can help. There is lots of advice up here on fixing the y-bang if you don't get it resolved, it's pretty typical and easy to fix.

yeah,i think the quality on them is good, the y-pipe isnt actually banging,it doesnt move at all b/c its against the floorboard,i couldnt put a piece of heater hose in there if i wanted to,i cant even get 1 finger in between the y-pipe and the floorboard. i'll figure something out

they aren't ebay headers. just because someone sold them on ebay doesn't mean they're ebay headers. you can find plenty of other brands on ebay. they are a new company selling them at little to no profit because they're trying to penetrate an already flooded market. the easiest way to get their product out there is to sell them cheap on ebay since there's virtually no advertisement or overhead. the stainless steel they use is a better grade than kook's, QTP's, SLP's and ARH's. you can buy them from a sponsor just like any other brand.
