Corsa / LTs / no cats ? (Video Inside)
I've been considering purchasing some cats for my car.. My current setup is hooker LTs, 3" ORP, and corsa catback..
See video clip below:

or

Do you guys think that if I purchased the TSP catted y-pipe setup below, that I would really notice a significant change in the exhaust tone? (less rasp, quieter, deeper tone)

Also, do you guys think it would mess up my current tune?
Would I really need to add O2s again?
Let me know what you guys think..
Thanks.

I put the TSP catted Y on last month from a TSP ORY. The car sounds SO MUCH BETTER! Yes it is a deeper sound. FINALLY no more rasp! I used to shift early so I would not get into the Rasp RPM range, now i rev right through that old range. I would not say the cats quieted the car down much though. It is a lot less obnoxious sounding. Maybe a little quieter, but now I like to here the deap clearer sound.
The car took about a week to adjust to the cats. It never died but it had to learn a little in order to idle like normal when coming to a stop. Car runs just fine now. FYI, there are no O2 sensor bungs after the cats. I just use the 2 in the headers. I wish I would have skipped the ORY all together.

i'm not sure about everyone but i've noticed of all the people in my area, the younger guys like 16-earlier 20s tend to love the rasp because it makes their car stand out and then they grow out of it in a few years and want it gone. Same thing happened to me!
