I can't remember if it's 162 or 168...
I had my stock Z/28 to 155 twice with a little room to spare in 5th gear, but the speedo only goes to 155 so I thought "What's the point" and shut it down.

It is 162 for the cars that came with the Z rated tires.

In your sig it says you have a Loudmouth.
Well, you know that Loudmouths are aftermarket exhausts only, they never came on stock SLP cars...
And speedo's are off by about 4-7 mph at those speeds, so 155 is about 148-151.

I doubt its off by a negative amount, if anything it should be higher because the tires will expand when going fast. I'm pretty sure that's what would happen.
a guy in my home town has one exactly like rrgray8's and he said he did 165 in his and its bone stock

Why does mine shut off at like 130? I had mine driving it home from florida where I got it and when it cut out I looked down and it was just coming off 130. Maybe I didn't look down fast enough or something but I don't know.

my budys 02 ws6 when it was stock was limited at 130 and he didnt know it until we were racing someone. but my 02 SS didnt have one at all when it was stock i didnt know what was up with that...

why.. why... YESADID hahahaunfortunately I've got this PO300 code which is multiple random misfire. It'll be back in the shop tomorrow. Should be out Tuesday if its what I think it is.
I know my tune is doing SOME good because I lowered my fan activation temperatures and my engine is running cooler already even though I've got this misfire thing going on.
What we need to do is find a closed airport or something like that to max them out on!!! I'm seriously itching too
