Transmission Fluid
What transmission fluid are you guys using in your stock M6 transmissions. Red Line or Royal Purple. Or any other suggestions. Also on your favorite what weights are you using?
Thanks

the stock stuff is really good, and I don't see a point of buying something else unless it is better, and you will find people have a love hate relationship with tranny fluids.

There have been multiple 100 page threads on this very topic. IF the search is working, use it. Otherwise, you CANNOT go wrong with mineral based Dexron 3. The only other higher cost fluids which most have claimed to cause NO problems what-so-ever are GM/Pennzoil Synchromesh and Mobil 1 ATF. I personally would not chance anything else (other than these 3 choices) in a stock T56, regardless of what anyone claims to the contrary.

Meh...oh well. I've given up trying to understand the different chemistries of different oils...I'm getting to the point where I'm tired of worrying about that stuff. To me, life's just too short. Almost akin to debating the whole Dexcool issue. Maybe my car not being a daily driver anymore has changed my views on this stuff...
