Default Black, on black, on black, on black...Pic inside

Well a friend of mine hit a curb in my car, so it gave me an excuse to buy z06 wheels and get them powdercoated black. What do you all think?

Just be sure to keep the tires dressed. When they're dirty it won't look good, but otherwise if you keep it all clean it will look awesome.

Yeah they were for the first day but it only takes about an hour of driving before this black thing gets dirty again. Anyone got any tips on keeping a black car clean?

when it comes to black on black, i like to see at least some other color (one that doesnt over shine the black on black theme but blends in well, like chrome/red/grey/etc). The z06 wheels look good tho, but i like to see at least a chrome lip, or else the wheel wouldnt stand out much, too much black. But thats just what i like!..... besides that, i think its a pretty bad *** ride.

I use Meguire's quick detail spray with microfibers on the entire car every other day. It's about all I can do to keep the car looking decent...

I found these in a chrome lip but i'm not a fan of chrome lips. I painted the calipers to just barley throw off the red. Although I will admit if I had chrome lips, it would be easier to keep those tires looking clean.

And a minimal lowering is in process along with some window tint. May also black out the rear tails.

The painted calipers work pretty well with that color combo. I'm looking into some tint myself after my left arm was completely red after a 3-4 hour trip yesterday

Wink Zaino

google "Zaino" for keeping your car clean. I am going to get some for my car soon. One of my friends uses their quick detail stuff for his shelby cobra rep.

Too expensive in my opinion. There are plenty of great waxes available at your local auto parts store like Meguiar's NXT (~$16).

too much black......IMHO the only way to go on black is chrome, and black is the ONLY color I would put chrome on, any other color with chrome is to blingy for me....

meguiars is also what I would use for wax, but I am getting the zaino quick detail (gloss enhancer stuff) for when I am at a show or whatever.

P.S. its only $9.95

I like the black on black look, it gets attention. My friend did that on his Cobra, but finally just got tired of it and bought some new chrome rims.

PS He blew (up) the engine a couple weeks ago, !

I thought you were talking about the whole Zaino set-up with the multiple applications and whatnot. That ain't a bad price at all if you just use that product.

EDIT: For example their "Zaino Total Protection Show Car Kit" is $84.70:

It includes:
# ZFX™ Flash Cure Accelerator Additive
# Z-2 PRO™ Show Car Polish for Clear Coated Car Finishes
# Z-5 PRO™ Show Car Polish for Swirl Marks and Fine Scratches
# Z-6™ Ultra Clean Gloss Enhancer Spray
# Z-7™ Show Car Wash
# Z-18™ ClayBar
# Zaino Metallic Silver Decal
# & TWO Zaino Custom Polish Applicator for FREE!

$90+ w/ shipping is a bit much even though there is a lot included.
