99 camaro shocks?

99 camaro shocks? ok so i have my eibach lowering springs......i need some help determining what shocks to run. i know the bilsteins wear out fast, and the konis are alot of money. so i was looking for advise on which shocks to go with? i am looking for real good handling and something to help me from bottoming out.

FWIW Konis R worth the $.
Shocks cannot keep you from bottoming out by themselves, spring rate is a serious issue there. I've never run the eibachs, but too low a rate + lowered = bottoming out.
If you have the prokit, I'm told its a 400lb front rate. You should be in good shape w quality shocks. But spend the $ here, because stock and cheap aftermarket shocks are not designed to handle lowering springs.

Sorry, only had stockers and the Konis on this car...couldn't tell you much about the QA1s.
What I can say is I was hesitant to pay the coin for the Konis...it is up there...but now that I have, I will not waste $ on cheap shocks again...you really get what you pay for there. Many others would agree.

B. I posted the eibachs spring rate as 400lbs...stock is 292...so yeah, that would be higher than stock.
C. How will a softer shock help the bottoming out issue (or handling)?
If he IS looking for a drag race set up you may be correct...but thats not how I took his post.
*also I agree that the rear progressive springs do not qualify as high rate (80-137lbs) copared to stock 114lbs. To be honest this is probly responsible for any bottoming out.

if your not drag racing and you have lowerspring you have only 2 chocies.
