Default Dart Pro 1's come in

I have a set of dart pro 1's are those heads capable of supporting 1000+ hp with out porting? my set up is a 370 ci motor and im going with a pt 91.5 turbo. 400 trans. I have done some reserch on the heads and they are not that far behind the afr and trick flow and they are fully cnc'd. Seeing that the darts are not cnc'd would they be ok out the box or should i port them. my pistons are cut for 15* heads thats why i didnt get the afr or the other heads.

ARP head stud's and 15/16lbs of boost so far. Cablebandit also has theses head's and is making alot of power. He has run in the low 9's with his car.

I have not run low 9s Chris I ran an 1/8 good enuff for low 9s but we all know that the last 1/8 is where all the water starts to push. KP went low 9s with them for awhile. Mine are just copper spray coated on both sides...doubt it helps but i thought i'd give it a try before i have to oring.

All I can say is a lot of my gasket issued stopped when I stopped using the darts. They are a great head but I would choose otherwise on a higher power FI build, lots of choices out there. Just my opinion..

Have a set on my TT 402, needed a set of heads in short order, good hardware but could use some work on the ports.

I've heard of people sending their heads to Dart for porting.

I wish dart had made the spring seat pockets 1.550", why not?

Still to install dual springs on Dart heads you have to get alittle crafty.

so why is the heads lifting? I know i dont want that problem. I thought that would be cause running to high off boost can lift heads. Any one

I switched to AFR 225s, picked up a little power and the heads havent been off the car since I put them on. Havent been in any real cool weather where the power was up but it still ran its best time overall in the heat with no pushing water.
