Default Ram Air Hood Spacer

Hello,

Is there any of our lovely sponors sell a spacer for the ram air hoods where it seals the intake to the hood. I already have the F.R.A.M already done to the air box, K&N and an after market lid. Just looking for some little bolt on stuff to add to make things a little more efficient.

Tilly

you have an SS hood, there is no "ram air". it jsut flat out sucks. if you want a bolt on for "ram air" get the SSRA

Patrick G made a 1" spacer out of something, but it was for a ws6 hood. I was thinking about doing it but I really can't find anything good to use.

buy 2 of the BGRA spacers from afterthoughtsauto.com

2 will fit but you may have to trim part of one down. it will make a very good tight seal

YEa I know its nto ram air. But its a source of cold air. I read some where not sure but the air temperature drops when it sucks through the hood scoop.

maybe on a WS6 but not on an SS. the SS scoop is right on top of the motor and gets heat soaked. not enough air comes through that hood until very high speeds to make a difference anyway
