poor idle
when i move slowly and stop or pull up to a light my idle always sits around 450 to 500 and the idle is very poor, it is always jumping up and down and will occasionally drop to 200 or 300 and rarely it will die. any suggestions?

i don't have it, it was supposed to have been tuned out. but if it wasn't could this be causing it? i should be getting hp tuners next week and will be tuning all egr and rear o2's out if they aren't already.

I had idling problems and tcs and ses lights. I plugged up my intake with
an 1 1/2" dia. plumbing part with a wing nut and it solved all my problems. If its sucking air this could be your problem.

this could be a MAP sensor or a TPS sensor but im not to sure! u could start off by cleaning the MAF and if its clogged injectors you will get a SES code but do u have any ses codes right now? o and could also be a vacumm leak as well

humm im guessing maybe if your o2 are sensing that there is more fuel but not enough air maybe it can be a vacum leak!!! how is the idle is it vibration or does the rpm just move up and down???

when it drops really low it vibrates but it isn't just vibrating all the time, and when i say drops low i mean drops to around 400. and i wasn't looking at the o2's as a problem, i know not having cats will make them go crazy

o crap i dident realize u dident have cats, hummm if i were you i would start off with the simplist thing i can think of which is a vacuum leak!! anything little like a ripped air intake duct after the filter can cause problems or a crack in your manifold or loose manifold bolts!!! but b4 you check this clean out your MAF like how some of the other people also mentioned, they sell the can at autozone or kragen, any autoparts store. let me know how everythings goin goodluck

have u tested your iac valve located on the side of the throttle body? unbolt it have a friend hold it vertical while you go put the key in the ignition and turn on acc.s. dont have to start it ..see if the plunger moves...do it a couple of times. this controls idle as well. if plunger does not move buy a new one
