Drag Racing Tech - Fastest stock bottom end FI car = Mike B. ???

Friend Mike B. went to Norwalk with us on Monday. His car is a 2002 CE T/A with completely stock bottom end, heads/cam, Incon Stage 1 kit (about 10psi), and Rossler TH400.

He ran a best of 10.22 @ 136 and backed it up with a 10.27. This is foot braking the car! Quite sure he'd be in the 9's with a loose converter and t-brake.

And Mike's car looks as good as it runs. Very meticulous details and customization all done by Mike. He will be at the shootout on the 31st in BG.

Thats a damn good E.T.

Does he have any weight reduction?

A few things...here's what i know about:

- Removed bumper supports
- Tubular K
- !ABS, !A/C, !rear seats, !emissions

- Added 6-point cage and 9-inch

Still has factory leather front seats and full interior minus the rear seats. I think he is planning on pulling the tranny after the shootout for a full manual version with t-brake.

He's also gonna try to remove a few more pounds for the race :D

Damn, those are some good times!!! I was going to try and chase the stock bottom end FI record, but this is getting a little ridiculous ;)

My car will be up and running in about the next month...I guess the bar has been set!

Good times, tell him to come up here, 5600ft above sea level. I have run 11.76@117 so far with a stock bottom end, pistons, heads, only thing done internally is the B1 cam.

this was done on a crappy 1.76 60ft. I am working on that, I need to hook. 9psi for me.
