The Hemi is a good motor, I'm surprised to say (coming from a guy who worships the GM LSx family of motors). And I only have experience with the 5.7 version, which makes my porky Daytona move around quite nicely as if it was a thousand pounds lighter. The SRT version is a beast, and rumours abound of a larger SRT being available by the time the Challenger comes out (of course, this can all change with the new management).
Time will tell.
As for Ford... after my 2 previous Ford disasters, I would be afraid to own one. The only practical use for a fast Ford is that it gets you to the dealership's service bay quicker.

I can't believe I am about to say this, because I have never and would never own a dodge, but I have raced a charger srt8 and a 300 srt8 in my maggied ctsv blew them both away! but was suprised how well they do go! I am glad my car is not stock or I might still be eating crow.

CTS-V = 13.00
SRT8 = 13.10
I hope the multiples of $1000.00 dollar bills are worth a 10th of a second. (The caddy costs significantly more and has done much worse in long term quality tests ((go figure)) )

If Chrysler begins acting like a real car company instead of a shareholder-focused business, GM and Ford could get a real run for their money.

I don't care whether it's an LS7, or a supercharged LS3 ... I can't wait for Chevy to pull all the stops and blow away ALL the competition!
