Default Stall necessary with supercharger

Hi, i'm thinking of supercharging the z-28 with a procharger. If i supercharge it will the stall still be necessary??????? Anyone running a procharger with a stall or just running a procharger without one?

it wouldnt hurt, but with making that much power you better have some suspension and tires to back it up or goodbye traction.

I have weld in subframes and am going to add some lower control arms to help out with the suspension.

honestly, if you want to go fast, a stall is the FIRST mod any auto car should do. And yes with a cintrifugal supercharger like procharger, you WANT a stall to get you into your boost faster. Would you rather hit it off the line and have 3psi or 6psi of boost. Don't take those numbers literally, but that's the idea. higher boost immediately with a stall

3.23 gears.....Looks like i will have to get the stall, trans cooler, ls6 intake, and ported throttle body. Hope to have all this done by Christmas. Just more money to save up......

and when you buy a stall, go with Yank or Precision Industries. You will NOT be dissapointed, I promise. 3200-3600 would be nice for a street/strip car, won't loose much drivability at all...

I would get a fast 90/90 if i could find a setup used for a good price. I can't see paying $1100 for an intake and throttle body.

3200-3600 is what was recommended to me from several folks when I was looking at a vortech setup. Yank SS3200 would work great.

I did my Procharger 1st. Then I had to go back and do gears and converter. Without the aftermarket stall things just did not feel quick enough. I did not have that violent push into the seats. I do now. I am also selling my P1SC if you are interested. Info on sig.

No, not really. I had that converter and I had to move up. It wasn't enough. I moved up to the Yank PY 3400 (made for forced induction). And life is great now.

Also while you are at it..You might want to keep saving and buy a 12 bolt/9 inch..and a built transmission..Because honestly..neither the rear end or the stock transmission is gonna like that Procharger...
