I don't know where the Pacesetters end on the left side but on my Jet Hots I had to do up a short pipe with a bend to get the left muffler (3x12 bullit) in the right spot under the driver's seat area, right side was plenty of room.

If it's touching the heat shield (or obviously the lines themelves) then it's a no go. I've been there and done that. Boiled the brake fluid and I slowly lost the brakes on the way home from the track. Ended up having to use the e-brake by the time I got home.

Would it be ok to use that or should I get a pipe made?
I bought one of those tubes. It seems pretty good and pretty smooth inside. I bought it so I could figure out how I need the pipe to be bent. I will have to get the exhaust shop to do it off the car, because they won't touch it on the car due to emmision laws. I was wondering have any of you used this pipe before. I didn't expect it to be a very good piece but after getting it home it seems like a well made pipe and might work just to use it on the driver side.

that may work for a while, but it will eventually get brittle and crack. ive used it in kart racing and thats what happens to them after awhile.
just my .02.
i think it would be better to just get some solid pipe bent the way you need it and then youll be done.

I wrapped the muffler with header wrap and cut a heater hose and put that around the fuel and brake lines. It's been working great for over a year. Before I put the header wrap on the floor board would burn my feet. Now I can put my hand on the muffler (the wrapped part) after a long drive and leave it there without getting burnt.

I had the same problem and just picked up a piece of straight pipe for the driver side to extend the muffler out and used a vice to flatten a small section to clear the brace thing under the car.
Here is a pic of the drivers side on my car
and I pic of the pass side which is straight forward clamp on the muffler with the turndown.
Actually since these pics I change the angle of the turndowns to aim down more as well.
