it nvr fails!!!(fuel rail prob)
well i finally got my new msd opti in. Car runs amazing , and plus i get a hell of a lot mot MPG.
but anyways i was leaving work yesterday and smelled gas real bad so i pulled back into my shop parking lot and looked under the hood. well i started it up and look and were the fuel preasuer test fort in on the back of the fuel rail was SQUIRTING gas all over my firewall. so i killed it and today i pulled it off to see why.
Well were the lil test port fitting is brazed onto the pipe connecting the 2 fuel rails. there is a pin hole in the braze, so i am in need of a new one so im buying the whole new set up.....any ideas of were i can get an aftermarket one.. i want rails, the 2 connecting pipes, and the FPR..
any help would be good...
thanks

yea i know a couple guys that braze radiators that are pretty good in my area, but i would rather go aftermarket since its already all apart and i ask him how much and he said he would have to do it first then tell me(but he would be brazing it)

I tried to get my rails welded by the port, I had a crack on the test port when I tried to get my fitting off from my fuel pressure gauge sending unit. Lets say the $20 to get it welded was a big waste, as the next day I got a rail for $45 shipped off a member on here. Post up that you need a rail, you will get one quick for cheap. Didn't look like it would leak after I got it welded, but behold fuel!
