For the TC-8 Swirl Cutter, you can use the orange "cutting/polishing" foam pad or a white" polishing" foam pad on the Porter Cable buffer. Use the lightly moistened orange pad for the more noticeable ultra-fine line/hologram removal from the paint. Keep a spray bottle of water handy to minimize the amount of dust as the product breaks down on the surface.

The white pad may be used after to further refine and smooth the finish before using the blue "final finishing pad to apply the TC-3 Polish/Sealant xP.

Feel free to contact us with any questions.

Once you have worked the TC-8 Swirl Cutter on the surface, it should be broken down where the residue it is almost clear on the surface. Keep a water spray bottle handy while working the product. An occasional light mist will also reduce dusting of the product. Speed 4 is fine for removal with the bonnets.

Removal of the ultra-fine scratches will be easier to accomplish on certain vehicle compared to others. Typically I will use the range between 5-6 on the PC with the orange pad moving at the rate of 1"/second. If you're inflicting micro-marring, lightly mist the work area with some water. Some more stubborn blemishes may require the use of a more aggressive pad and chemical.
