Neutral safety switch?
What do I do with the wires to get my car to start? I just put in a Hurst pistol grip shifter and it doesnt have a spot for the wires. Should I wire them together or put a switch on it to get past tech?

Well i will tell after you see a 6 year old get run over by his mothers car while his uncle was working on it . MAKE IT WORK I was tunning on my car looked up and saw somthing under a car and people running and to find out it was the kid bleeding out of every hole in his head hadand had to air lift . and race was called. The purple wire is the one you want to switch you can find it at the harness b4 it goes thru the fire wall with the computer wires.

There's a N/S switch you can buy for that's specific for that shifter.

I bought a rear exit shifter but there is some kind of switch with one spade sticking out of it and a arm that goes to the main shaft of the shifter. If this is it how and what wires do I hook to it? I assume my factory nsw was the pigtail with the green/white stripe and brown/white strip. How should I hook this to the one spade? Thank you everyone.
