Default LT1-LE1 package?

does anyone know if the h/c package from eportworks.com is any good? it seems so cheap and such a good deal i cant see why everyone wouldnt buy this stuff. LT1-LE1 seems like a pretty desent stepping stone.

From what i have heard it is a decent stepping stone. Alot of people jump straight to the stage 2 though.

There are two ways to take a thread like this, which way will you take it?

http://www.impalassforum.com/vBullet...d.php?t=183780
Another set 3000 miles and new guides and valvejob.
This is just in the last week or so, either food for thought or opportunity which do you think?

If you're trying to imply that LE does shoddy quality work I think that is pretty dumb considering a **** ton of people have used his heads with no problems and made serious power with them.

Lloyd has some good quality stuff and good running cars to back it up, for a decent price.

Buddy of mine had LE2 heads (now on my car) and an LE1 cam and that car was awesome for what it was.

Did he ever post what caused his guides to go? I've also gotten quite a few pm's about peoples problems with LEx heads so I know we weren't the only 2 who had problems.

I talked with Lloyd and with Ron/Phil, I ended up with AI and I'm satisfied. When I actually compared apples to apples (ie comparable parts/work) AI was the obvious choice for me.

You have to make the decision that's right for you. In my opinion when you consider the entire swap price including the costs of the supporting mods/parts the price difference of the heads becomes inconsequential.

Cool. I remember talking with you via PM about them a couple years ago? Glad it all worked out for you.
