The MBA billet ***** were fairly heavy, but you will only find them on ebay, or on the classifieds here and on other LSx sites, as MBA is out of business.
I actually want the lightest shift **** I can find as I feel that it puts the least amount of stress/force on the shift forks/internals when driving around in gear (especially with a super stiff suspension on really bad roads).

This is what the MBAs were. In fact they had one that was a round ball that tapered down to the handle smoothly that they called "teardrop" shaped. They were pretty heavy if you got the bigger diameter versions (2.5" diameter).

I have an MBA ****, and dont get me wrong, they are great and i love the ****, but they are not heavy, its a billet aluminum ****, not much more weight than the stock hurst, i know i have seen a polished tremec 6-spd ****, i dont remember what it was made out of, but if it is steel it would definatly be heavier.
