You want the good news or bad. You can get a setup for like $500 but it will not record data. I know of a setup that is badass but it is 1200 but will hookup to your laptop and record anything you want and graph. All of this from the cockpit of you car. You would not have a dyno number but you could tune your car perfect with a load and everything. Let me know if you want all the info my local dyno guy was telling me about it and I see him about every three days.

Built both the 1.0 and 1.5, work fine and can save some money if you solder. The ver 1.5 works great with a 50.00 palm m105 for logging a/f and rpm. The 2.0 will use a cheaper sensor but isnt out yet. I have always received the kits within two weeks of ordering them, they also offer pre-built units..
Greddy also makes an a/f meter with a seperate O2 sensor, never tried one but it looks pretty decent. I'm not sure what sensor they use, I'm sure someone has tried one by now..

Re: WIDE BAND O2 KIT??
I just ordered a 1.5 unit and a sensor. I'm going to need one before July or August. I wish the sensor wasn't so exspensive at $185. Oh well, it's only money right.

Re: WIDE BAND O2 KIT??
I have an on-board wideband system.. with digital display and a RS-232 interface for logging to my laptop.
Here is the extra wideband O2 Sensor (black) mounted on my headers
And here is the controller mounted next to the PCM..
The wires go through the firewall. I have also direct connected the wideband controller to my PCM so I can get simultaneous air/fuel ratio, throttle position, and engine rpms via the same serial connnection to my laptop. This way I can log trims, etc. with Ease (via USB) and air/fuel, tps, and rpms via the Wideband controller, at the same time on my laptop.
Dump both data files into Excel and you've got a kick-butt tuning solution in my opinion.

Re: WIDE BAND O2 KIT??
I got the Tech Edge v1.5 unit. Works great and is EASY to install. The display is easy to mount and doesn't take up too much room. I velcro'd the display on top of my dash next to the pillar pod and it doesn't block road vision. Its able to log to a Palm or laptop.
Cost me $350 shipped plus $150 for the o2 sensor which I found at Autozone.

Finding an o2 sensor is a bitch though. V2.0 uses a widely available o2.

Re: WIDE BAND O2 KIT??
I followed one of the links at the Techedge site to SHO NUT Performance and they said they had the O2 sensors in stock. They were $185 dollars though. Autozone is out of stock.

Re: WIDE BAND O2 KIT??
The Techedge 1.5 unit outputs a narrowband signal so you can put the wideband sensor in place of your stock sensor, but I don't know if I'd trust that feature or not.
A new bung installed shouldn't be much at most exhaust shops.
