Well, im going to assume that you have a 00 Camaro SS. Some off these guys want all the info on your car well before they give many responses.
1. free mods.
2. Lid.
3. Airfilter.
4. Ported stock TB if you like, some companies do it cheap!!
5. Catback exhaust.
ill let the other guys add on to that but its a good start.
You may also want to tell everyone what your budget looks like.
Money sometimes has alot to do with what kind of HP/TQ your looking
to get.
Just a little help from one to another

Is it an a4 or 6 speed?
If it's an A4: Stall and trans cooler all the way!!!, cat-back, sub-frame connectors and a good set of tires (drag radials, not street tires.) Port the TB yourself - get a Dremel, a beer and go at it, very easy to do and a good gain for quick throttle response. This will get you into the 12's no problem and make the car a blast to drive. Do not listen to idiots about your gas mileage or lack of driveablity. A stall is the only way to go for a fast DD automatic. I am on the fence with headers - cost alot and not a ton of gain without heads and cam. I would save the cash for a good tune after the bolt-ons I listed.
Free mods - waste of time unless your bored
If's a 6-speed. Full exhaust, cam and tune. You can do a light cam with springs installed for a grand, 450 for a tune and I put full exhaust on my car for $600. Hit up ebay, go long tube with a good cat and your set for mid 12's.

There is no best mod (from a sticky???)!!! This whole site is about finding the best mod. The best mod for your car is a driver who is motivated to do proper research and open minded. Second best comes in a bottle
