Default Problems after trans go install.

The car shifts very good for 80 miles.....but, suddenly, no movement on D and OD.
If I put the selector on 1 or 2, the car moves, when its runing I put it on D and the car shifts normal, but when I get a total stop, It doesnt move on D or OD, I have to do it again and shift manually since 2.

any idea of what I have to check up?

thanks in advance.

No movement in D o OD but you can take off in 1-2 manual you have a broken low roller clutch sory but you gonna either be disassembling or replacing trans thats a hard part failure.

I think there is a problem with either the forward clutch or the forward sprag. The reason I do not think it is the low roller is because it holds in low and has to freewheel in second. I believe this is an input issue. Vince

If I remember correctly the overrun clutch does not come on until the trans would shift into 3rd gear in the D3 position. I think that would be true in 700 but I think the strategy is different in a 4l60e. Good question I will check on it tomorrow. Vince

My understanding on the 4l60e in the D position is that its on in first then goes off in second and comes back on during the 2-3 shift. Now in the 700R4 is was on in all the gears in D, The change was to eliminate a downshift jerk when the 2-4 band came back on when coming to a stop when In the D position. But yes let me know what you find out.
