Default Doug's Headers for A-body Chevelle LSx Conversion

Saw these while I was at SEMA... not sure the difference between these and Hookers... Wish I had taken a picture of them.. well they had one side hanging as a display.... I found them on the JEGs site but no actual pic ...

http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...0002_889174_-1

Not sure about fit but the headers looked nice. They also offer (and recomend) thier install adapters to facilitate correct fitment... The adapters look like they were cut out of flat stock plate steel. Nothing special... Just another option to look into... I will go through the numerous catalogs that I gathered for anything that might be related to conversions....

Cool.

And I'm betting there's jkust enough difference in them so that they fit their mounts, and not Hooker's....

Has anyone seen there adapter kit.. are they made like S&P, BRP, ATS or Hookers ???

Would like to put some headers on this winter and looking at options.. at lease there is now Doug's and Hookers.. maybe the prices will start dropping some now that there are other manufactors producing swap headers..

it looks like their a little cheaper than hookers, i think i ended up paying a little over $600 for the hookers and frame adapters, but the fit was great, real tight tuck under the body, and the caddy cts oil pan fit.
i was going to have a buddy with a cnc maching dup the hooker mount adapter, but prob wont bother-the only thing i am going to do to the headers is weld a 3 hole flange on them, dont like the slip fit
i have heard some hookers were coming w/o sensor fittings, but mine had them

I just scored a set of 1 7/8" SC's for $200 shipped to me from this forum. They have one small hole in the collector area, but that's easily fixed...

Of course, old "Classic" did go onto my wanted thread and try to cut my throat on the deal, but fortunately, he is cheaper than even I am and ended up insulting the guy with his offer...

Anyway, once I get them, I'll let you all know how they fit with the ATS stuff.

Could you tell if the Dougs headers at SEMA were 1 3/4" primary or 1 7/8"?

They are 1 3/4" w/3" collectors, come in both un-coated $429.99 and ceramic coated $549.99 at Jegs... at bit cheaper than Hookers..

hey you're the one that told "everyone" to goto the thread and said "this guy has some real good prices". I just made him an offer, he didn't have to take it, and he didn't, no insult intended, just an offer, and yes you got 'em so..........old "Classic" did go onto "you're" wanted thread and try to cut throat on the deal. Not much of a cut throat if my offer was half of your's. Sheezz quit whinning.....................

Moron, that was BEFORE that guy posted. There was a VENDOR that posted a link to his WEBSITE with brand new headers for sale.....

And I didn't tell "everyone" top go there. I told one guy.

Blome.
