I know I heard a lot of peeps saying that the GTO is heavy and kinda slow off the line compared to other cars.... what can you do to solve that problem? Just wondering.. not gonna do anything more to my car for now.. since i'm a broke dick!

3.91's and a lighter clutch will help that.

This place sells the gears.
http://www.difftechnics.com.au/

Not sure if your an M6 or an A4 but if your an A4 then a larger converter will wake it up.

As far as our cars being slow.. our cars have alot of potential..

Getting the car off the line, you will need stickier tires. Traction sucks with the stock 245 size tires. I run 275 nitto NT555R tires in the summer and they hook pretty decent. They fit fine on the stock 17inch rim and I have no rubbing issues. When you up the power you may up-grade to MT ET streets, but you will probably have to roll or cut your fenders for them. They are a stickier tire for the street and track, but wear down faster than the Nittos for a daily driver, and arent so hot in the rain. For a decent all around drag radial, I really like my nittos.

Other wise you can do weigh reduction. Its a free mod that can help put your car on a diet. Search this section for weight reduction and you will see several threads about this. You can literaly unbolt about 50-80lbs of stuff off the car that isn't really needed. Sum will argue saying certain things shouldnt be removed due to saftey issues, those things are up to you. Remember, (as a general rule) every 100lbs you remove from your car translates to a 10hp increase, or a .10 at the track.

Weighed yesterday at E-town

3450 with me in it !!!

no rear seat or pasanger seat, no skid plate, no V-brace, no fuel cage and evrything in the trunk was out... Pritty basic and I weigh 150 so that puts the car at 3300 with 1/3 tank of gas
